Tomorrow cookbook week will start in Holland. We call it Kookboeken 7 Daagse here. Is a special week of the year when book stores give cookbooks extra special attention. Many authors will do book signings and presentations throughout Holland. To celebrate this the CPNB and Kookboek van het Jaar have made a beautiful magazine about cookbooks. If you purchase books for over €12,50 during these 7 days you get it for free. It’s about many cookbooks, cookbook authors and food photography, I’ve just read my own copy and I loved it.

I was asked to illustrate it, so I made the cover and some drawings for the interior. Here are some of them. I drew the cover on a chalkboard, it will be exposed in the shop window of H. de Vries book shop in Haarlem from Nov 10 – 17th.
