‘Het Paddenstoelenboek‘ or ‘The Mushroombook’ is a wonderful guide and cookbook, all in one. Written by Edwin Florès, a real mushroom hunter who also has a nice company called Casaforesta. Often Edwin drops by to bring me crates filled with freshly picked wild mushrooms for the restaurant.
This spring he asked me to illustrate his new book and of course I said YES!
It’s really a wonderful guide, you can’t go wrong if you have this one in your pocket on your own mushroom hunt. As the weather is perfect for some hunting I might do some of that myself this weekend and I’ll be sure to bring ‘het Paddestoenboek’ with me.
