When Marleen from Food We love asked me to curate the Food We Love Box for August I gladly accepted.
The theme for August was Home Made, so I assembled many products that you could use to make something new again. Like mustard seeds from de Stam Kruiden, a jar from Brouwmarkt and a step by step recipe to make your own mustard. Or the delicious granola from our bakery ‘Gebr. Niemeijer’ for making your own granola bars. Of course there were products that were home made already, like the rhubarb & rosemary jam from Kate’s Slow Jam or the patiently made beer from Kompaan. We have many of these products often on our menu in Aan the Amstel too. Like the fregula, I will enclose a recipe here for you to try. If you can’t find fregula in your local store order it online here at the webshop of GranSardegna. The box sold out in a blink of an eye so Marleen had to order extra boxes to serve everyone!
