Almost a year ago 3 ladies, Anouk Wentink, Ellen Vereijken en Leontien Aarnoudse asked me to contribute to their green project. They wanted to make a book about substantial food. A seasonal cookbook with tips & tricks on how to cook and live your life more consciously. I loved the idea right away, so with many other Dutch food writers and cooks (like Eefenlien, Eke Mariën (Boerenjongens), Samuel Levie (Green peas), Werner Drent and Yolanda van der Jagt to name a few) I left a recipe on their desk. It resulted in a huge beautiful book called de Groene Garde (the green whisk), filled with recipes, stories, tips and tricks of the trade. I’m happy to be a part of it, so thank you ladies for asking me.
